Argentina has been distinguished by the UNESCO in 1981 by registering in the World Heritage List some properties of natural and cultural relevance. Argentina has a wide variety of ecosystems where you can simply be in contact with nature and enjoy the beautiful landscape or practice recreational and sport activities as trekking, mountain biking, white-water rafting, canoeing, bird watching, fishing, skiing, golf, and wine tours.

Peru, the largest in area in the Andean countries, was the cradle of the most advanced indigenous civilizations and most powerful empire in pre-Columbian South America-that of the Incas. Peru was also the focus of Spanish colonial domination for its first two hundred years of rule. What remained of pre-Columbian America with regard to people, culture, and settlements is perhaps better represented in Peru than in any other country in South America.

Galapagos Islands

Made famous in 1859 by Charles Darwin’s, On the Origin of the Species book, the volcanic Galapagos Islands are situated in the Pacific Ocean, just 600 miles off the coast of Ecuador. In 1535, the Bishop of Panama wrote the first known description of the Galapagos and their wildlife when his ship encountered the islands after sailing off course. Thanks to the conservation efforts of the Galapagos National Park and the Charles Darwin Research Station. UNESCO in 1957 declared the Islands a world Heritage Site. The seas surrounding the Galapagos are the second largest protected marine reserve in the world.

Today, the Islands are universally admired for their human-tolerant wildlife, volcanic landscapes and equatorial shies. The unique Island environment provides an ideal setting for scuba diving, photography, hiking, bird watching, snorkeling and kayaking.
