Day 1: Arrival
Our Adventure begins as you board your flight to Buenos Aires. Transfer upon arrival to your hotel for registration.
A 4-hour tour of the elegant turn-of-the-century districts that earned Buenos Aires the soubriquet of the Paris of South America. From the charming cobbled alleys and colonial architecture of San Telmo along to the colourful La Boca district onto Plaza de Mayo, dominated by the Casa Rosada (Government House), the Nación Bank, the Cathedral and original Parliament House, up the leafy Avenida de Mayo towards the imposing grandeur of the Palace of Congress and then on to finish at the historically fascinating Recoleta Cemetery, you will discover the facts, stories and anecdotes that make up the colourful tapestry of the history of Buenos Aires. Day 2: Buenos Aires / Bariloche
This morning you are transferred to the airport where you embark on your flight to Bariloche. In the afternoon enjoy a city tour leaving Bariloche to the west, the road winds gently along the shores of the Nahuel Huapi Lake with spectacular views of the Andean mountain. From the Campanario mount, which you can climb the easy way on a chairlift to the top, you can enjoy a coffee while admiring the absorbingly beautiful scenery. This privileged panoramic point offers views of the Nahuel Huapi and Perito Moreno lakes, as well as the Trebol lagoon, the San Pedro peninsula and the Llao Llao hotel, the Victoria Island and the peaks of the Otto, López, Goye and Catedral mountains as well as the spread of the city of Bariloche itself. Day 3: Victoria Island
The prototype of the Bariloche landscape taken to its finest degree, Victoria Island is a jewel set in a vast sapphire blue mirror which sets off the ranges of snow-capped peaks rising above its luxurious green forests, home to the rare south pudu deer, the smallest of its kind measuring barely 40 cm in height and weighing a mere 9kg. Day 4: Bariloche / El Calafate
Transfer to the airport for your flight to Calafate. Upon arrival to Calafate, you will be met by our representative for a 1 hour and 20 minute drive to your hotel. The Patagonian Continental Ice is 17,000 Km2, a gigantic mass of ice that in some places becomes glaciers. The Southern Patagonian Ice corresponds to Argentina and Chile and the glaciers which are easiest to access are the Perito Moreno and the Upsala. B.
Day 5: Perito Moreno Glacier
Full-day tour to the Perito Moreno Glacier through the National Park, a beautiful drive of some two and a half hours with stops to enjoy the view, including the Corner of Sighs, where you get your first full view of the Glacier. B.L.
Day 6: Upsala Glacier
A chance to appreciate the impressive stretch of the Upsala Glacier by boat, gliding across the Lago Argentino between smooth wind-sculpted icebergs glittering in the sunlight, before continuing along the Brazo Cristina channel to Estancia Cristina, the estancia which offers the best land access to the glacier and the Continental Ice Cap. Day 7: Departure
Transfer to Calafate airport for your flight to Buenos Aires. Upon arrival to Buenos Aires you will be met by our representative who will transfer you to the International airport, one hour drive, for your international flight back home. B.
